I Feel Like It’s Been Forever Since We Talked…

That’s probably because I sent my newsletter out early last week since we were attending a  writers conference.  I can’t express what an amazing weekend that was!  It was held at The Cove (Billy Graham’s Training Center) in Asheville, NC.

We were so blessed to meet many amazing people such as Ann Tatlock, author of the Christy Award-winning novel, “All The Way Home”.  We met and talked with Eddie Jones, Acquisitions Editor, and owner of Lighthouse Publishing who is also an amazing author himself.  Many others filled this memorable weekend with smiles, laughter, tears, and TONS of encouragement and information!

In South Carolina, we’re starting to see hints of spring, and I’m LOVIN”… it!

Now, for my partner, Linda, today’s a different story.  They are expecting 2 feet of snow in Connecticut.  I’m sure many of you are still covered up with snow right now, but that doesn’t stop our minds from moving on into spring, does it?

What do you do to prepare for spring?  As for me, after sprucing up the house a bit – getting all the Christmas decorations which, for some odd reason, were hiding when we undecorated —  I then unpack all things colorful.  These may consist of brightly colored pillows or throws along with colorful china and pottery which I display here and there.

But, that’s not all!  I definitely include spring arrangements for the inside, and wreaths for the outside.  I am working on several new wreaths right now, as a matter of fact – and these are not for me, if you know what I mean…

My thoughts also turn to my yard along with my back porch which spans almost the length of our home.  There, you’ll find sad clay pots filled with dirt along with a few pansies peeking out here and there.  But I am ready to clean them up as I prepare for planting beautiful flowers which will greet me early every morning, and smile at me the last thing in the evening, as I give them their last drink from our hose.

LadybugWreaths, and Passion Into Profits has kept all of us VERY busy lately!  I’ll tell you about that below.

  1. Hi Nancy,
I have decided to begin an Etsy site. My husband is researching and setting it up for us. Still teaching full time leaves too little time to create and help in our shop in town. I wanted to let you know that I listened to your very informative call and appreciate what you are doing. I have been making mesh wreaths for our store for several years now but never on the workwreath base. I, also, purchased your Christmas mesh wreath video and have thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I am also thinking about signing up for your coaching program. This is my year to retire from teaching and I need to hear the kinds of positive messages that you send. Thank you for having a sharing heart.

    1. Good for you Lois. Setting up an Etsy site is a very important “First Step”! Great to have your hubby helping you too.

Our coaching programs are great! Ladies are learning so much… I think it is just as rewarding for Linda and I as it is for them.

We would love to have you.

Let us hear from you again!

      Smiles… Nancy
