Green Dried Sponge Mushrooms, Pack of 5

❖ These are the same preserved mushrooms I use in my own wreath and floral designs. This pack holds 5 Green Dried Sponge Mushrooms on sticks. These sticks help you add them to your wreath or any other design so easily!

I love using preserved sponge mushrooms in just about every wreath I design! Not only do they add texture due to their unique look on the front and back but they help me secure other objects to my wreaths.

❖ HOW TO USE: For example, I frequently want to add a focal point to the bottom of my wreaths. To start, I’ll usually add 2 preserved mushrooms with their stems pointing in at opposite angles. This gives me a sort of natural ‘shelf’ to hold all that I want this focal point to hold.

I’m then free to add a bird nest with eggs with a bird perched on the side of the nest. Or I could add a bird house in place of the nest which is fastened in securely but looking like it is sitting on my mushrooms!

But wait! I’m not through! I always add fresh green mosses tucked under and around the sides of the nest or birdhouse as well as the mushrooms. If you’ve looked at any of my wreaths or my videos you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about! It’s so much fun seeing sections of my wreaths come to life with the ‘wild and woodsy’ materials I frequently use. YOU can definitely do the same!!

❖ SIZES & DESCRIPTION: The mushroom sizes vary from 4 to 6 inches wide and are from 2 1/2 to 5 inches tall. The thickness on each varies. They are thicker closer to the stem and as they radiate out become thinner. The underside of each has a unique design with the top of each a little smoother. You can see this in my photos.

Each mushroom is different since they are natural & green. I think that’s what I like the most about them since I’m known for my ‘wild & woodsy’ wreaths”!

You’ll get a natural look to all your creations like I do using sponge mushrooms. Like a mushroom in the wild, they are smooth on the top side and ribbed on the underside. You’ll find a lighter color on top and a darker color on the underside.

Color: green, real, but dried/preserved mushrooms. Great for Wreaths!
