I know it’s only the middle of January, but it’s not too soon to be thinking about spring. GET READY!!
Start looking at flower stems. Go to your local craft and hobby stores. Watch for sales – they are plentiful this time of year – yes, even for new arrivals of spring and summer stems! I’ll give you a hint — I just looked in the paper and all the spring flowers at Hobby Lobby are 50% off this week!!
If you haven’t watched any of my DVDs yet, there are many free ones on YouTube. My YouTube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/ladybugwreaths .
You can also find several longer, more in-depth videos for purchase on my Ladybug Wreaths website! https://www.ladybugwreaths.com/
These videos will teach you how to make beautiful spring flower arrangements – ones that would be perfect for the center of your table, a sideboard, or just about anywhere you need some eye-catching color. Your arrangement will definitely put winter on the run!
While you’re visiting LadybugWreaths.com, take a look around — see what I’ve added since you visited me. And, if you’re not signed up for my email list, it’s easy to sign up — right on the front top right section of the home page of my website!
Our “Ladybug” designers have been having loads of fun the last couple of weeks designing Valentine, Spring and Easter wreaths. If you want to take a peek at those, you’ll find them listed in my Etsy shop!
I Want to See Your Wreaths in Etsy
Here is an example below of a Beautiful ‘Welcome’ Valentine Door Wreath
The good thing about this time of year is you can change types and colors of flowers to match your décor. You can Bring The Spring Inside!
You might want to start searching for different types, sizes, and colors of flowers which you would like to see in an arrangement or a wreath for that special spot in your home. And, of course, you will need a mix of greens.
If you have any of my DVDs already, then you know that I always mix many shades and types of greens in everything I do!
And of course, let’s not forget those beautiful wreaths you’re working on for your Etsy store or to take to spring festivals or craft shows. You want to have an array of choices for your customers when spring fever hits and they want to redecorate.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” ~Ecclesiastes 3:1~
Yes, there is a time to make spring wreaths – and it’s now!
While you’re curled up enjoying that cup of hot cocoa in front of the crackling fire in your fireplace, start brainstorming about spring. Who knows? Maybe it’ll even warm you up!
Blessings,
Nancy
